An incubator project to create an innovative product concept for the global game and electronics retailer GameStop.

ibm 2014

Hired to design and build a concept to transform the physical retail space to the same level as the online space. In the scope of 4 weeks, a small team and I designed a mobile app to jump-start the mission  — putting the in-store curation, trade-in, and sales experience in the user's hands.

The team achieved this by conducting research from gamers and game conferences. Understanding users by creating personas. Synthesizing data and aligning the team through storytelling. Testing prototypes achieved the proof of concept, and the client could move forward to development.

My contribution: design leadership, client workshops, design thinking facilitation, and visual design collaboration.
